Do you remember that feeling of enthusiasm and joy when you were on fire? You couldn’t wait to get up in the morning and start the day.
You had that vibrant, creative energy that set you apart from everyone else.
There was more “doing” and less “thinking and worrying.”
You had more “passion” and less “pain.”
You “thrived on success” instead of “being consumed with stress.”
Unfortunately, we all have moments when our energy and enthusiasm for the world around us begin to dwindle. As a result, it’s common to feel uninspired, stuck in a rut, or even jaded.
But what if you could find your way out of this funk and rediscover what really sets your soul on fire?
Wouldn’t it be cool if you got your spark back?
Music is one of my favorite tools I use when coaching leaders to help them rediscover their passion and drive!
Studies show that certain types of music can help you relax and put you in a positive frame of mind. For example, listening to upbeat tunes, like pop or rock songs, can help you shake off the blues and motivate you to take action.
Lately, I have been sharing a song by Lily Meola: Don’t give up on your daydream with my clients. Lilly is a twenty-something singer-songwriter – and the lyrics to this song are profound and inspiring. Take a listen.
The power of daydreaming is often underrated. It can help us imagine possibilities and ignite powerful ideas beyond what we can see in our current circumstances.
Additionally, daydreaming can be a source of creative inspiration, enabling us to think outside the box and come up with solutions that would have otherwise been overlooked.
Let your dreams light up your world, fill it with passion, and help you become fully-self expressed because when you tap into the power of your imagination, there’s no telling what you can accomplish.
If you feel something is missing, stop letting your daydreams pass by and start embracing them instead!
Keep shining: Dream. Do. Done!
