Let’s discuss a topic we can all relate to – feeling tired versus feeling inspired.
It’s been about three years since I last hit the dance floor. Three years of life getting in the way and putting other things first. Here’s the crazy thing, I LOVE to dance salsa, but somehow I didn’t make time for it.
But last week, I finally did it. I put on my dancing shoes, got in the car, and headed to the studio. And let me tell you, it was tough. My muscles were sore, and my rhythm was off. I felt tired and out of practice – for a while, it was bad!
But then something amazing happened. I heard the music and felt the beat, and suddenly I was transported back to my younger self, full of energy and excitement…like I didn’t have a care in the world.
Dancing inspires and fills me with joy, even on my most tiring and difficult days. And as I danced, I started to feel that sense of energy and power that had been missing for so long.
I realized that dancing isn’t just a hobby; it’s MY THING!
After three years, it wasn’t easy to get back on the dance floor, but it was worth it.
One of my favorite mantras is “get out of my head and into the body,” and boy…when I am intentional with this – I’m on fire! So if you’re feeling tired and drained lately, take a moment to think about what inspires you.
What fills you with joy and purpose?
What have you been putting off because you feel too tired or too busy?
It is time to get back to doing what makes you feel alive! Start by taking that first step (no matter how small) and watch your inspiration and energy return.
Tired versus inspired isn’t just about how we feel in the moment – it’s about tapping into our inner power and finding the things that truly inspire us. So put on those dancing shoes, my friend, and get ready to light things up.
The dance floor is waiting for you!
